FAQ's PLEASE READ :)
How will my images be sent to me?
Your fully edited high-resolution images will be sent to you via my Pixieset Collection website. Please allow 2-3 weeks for images to be delivered. During peak season, please allow for up to 4 weeks for images to be delivered.
How many images will I receive?
Each session includes a minimum number of images that are chosen by your photographer. All images are delivered in color and a few, chosen by your photographer, in b&w.
Do you offer any seasonal family mini sessions?
Fall Mini's are offered from Sept 1- Nov 1.
Winter/Snow Mini's are offered between Dec-Feb.
When is payment due?
A $50 deposit is due on all sessions upon booking. There is also a deposit when booking a wedding, mitzvah, or other event. The remainder of your payment is due on or before the day of your shoot. Payment is accepted in form of cash, check (made out to Nicole Lukemeyer), Venmo, Quick Pay, Zelle, or Apple Pay.
What if there is an emergency the day of the shoot?
There are always emergencies that come up. In your Pre-Session Questionnaire, I will ask for contact information in case I need to get a hold of you the day of the shoot. You will also be provided with my information as well.
What if the weather is bad the day of my shoot?
Weather, as always, is unpredictable. It's very rare that sessions will be cancelled. In the past, I have only cancelled due to extreme cold/hot temperatures, windy days, rain (a light sprinkle is ok!), and sleet (snow is ok!). If your session is cancelled, it will be reschedule ASAP. Weeknights are usually make up days, since my weekends are usually booked. I will check to see if there are any weekend sessions available before giving you dates/times. Thank you in advance for being flexible!!
Do you have any suggestions for me prior to my newborn session?
It is important for you to feed your baby fully right before the session so they are sleepy. Please have extra bottles, diapers, and a pacifier. The pacifier will help soothe the baby so that I can capture great photos! You are welcome to nurse as often as needed. Colors to wear: gray, black, or neutral solid colors. Newborn posing is baby-led. There will be some formal posing but mostly baby-led (lifestyle) posing. This look is more natural and makes the session run much smoother.
What do I wear for my family session?
Think of colors you LOVE to wear or colors you LOVE your children in. Think about where you want these photos in your home. Coordinating colors that match your decor is something to consider. Babies under 8 months always look good naked or with a diaper cover and accessories.
Do you have any props?
I have head pieces for girls, hats, signs, banners, stools, and baskets to use during your indoor session. Feel free to bring something special, but it's not necessary. I do not bring much to outdoor sessions, but if there is something you would like in particular, please let me know.
What do I need to bring for a 1 year cake smash session?
For 1-year birthday cake smashes, please bring some washcloths/baby wipes to clean up the baby and a large towel to dry off the baby once you are done. Don't forget to bring extra diapers! If your 1-year cake smash is outdoors, please bring a trash bag as well.
How long is my session?
Each session is designed to have enough time to capture all the shots your photographer has planned for.
What if I decide to cancel my shoot?
If you should decide to cancel your session, you will not be charged for your session; however, your deposit is nonrefundable.
